ON the first day in Weymouth we went to the Isle of Portland. We tried to find the sculpture park again but still nothing. So we wondered around the church before heading back down to the coast.
On the coast we went to an English Heritage place, Portland castle. It was one of Henry VIII's fort to defend the coast, but wasn't really used.

Nice view though |
Around the corner from the castle was a WWII exhibit. It was from the harbour there in Portland where most of the American soldiers launched not heir way to D-Day. So they had a large interactive exhibit and tribute to those soldiers.
