Edinburgh Skyline

In November I got to go a training event at the Edinburgh Amazon office. The course was good but one of the best bits was the trip up the roof to see the views over Edinburgh. It had been raining all day but there was a lovely break in the weather and some great views.

Treyarnon

For the couple of the days left near Padstow, we headed to Treyarnon beach early afternoon, after a relaxed morning and a trip somewhere for lunch.

Treyarnon is a lovely beach and was easy for mom to walk down to. And Dad likes swimming there. Mom and I paddled but it was a bit too cold still.
On the first evening we stayed a bit later and headed up to the YHA centre for dinner.

Dad headed off to photograph the sunset. I took a few photos but the bugs were getting annoying and starting to eat me so mom and I ended up in the car waiting.

Porthleven

On the first day of out mini break, we first headed to a Chocolate Factory. (We have our priorities.)

I didn't take any photos as I was too busy selecting and tasting chocolates. Then we headed to Portleven, a small port town not far from where we were staying.

Harbour.
And first stop was lunch and a drink. Which was very nice.

Then we had a walk (well dad and I walked, mom was chauffeured in her wheelchair) around the harbour and along the pier.

From the end of the pier.

That night, we cooked pizza and drank wine, and watched an amazing sunset before retiring inside for a film and more wine. (I love holidays!)
