Seeing friends

I have also managed to do a social distance visit to some friends and my adorable little nieces. Well, Livvy didn't really social distance but she is so damn cute. (Ava just looked at my suspiciously the whole time.)

We took a nice walk around Himley with Livvy taking some very artistic shots on her camera and getting together a really collection of leaves and sticks. 

Over Christmas

Christmas was pretty rubbish this year thanks to most of my family being ill. Before Christmas we did get out to Himley for a bit of a walk. Dad likes to feed the ducks though there is no path to the lake there so we were a muddy mess afterwards.  

We did nothing over Christmas (we had a small version of Christmas dinner and that was about it).

But on the good side I did get another new baby niece who I got to meet the other day and see her sister enjoying her new Christmas bike.

I am expecting the rest of the year to follow the other 360 days of it and be pants (dad is now ill as well). So here's to 2020 being amazing. Hopefully I will have some more fun things to post. 

Run up to Christmas

The run up to Christmas (and Christmas) was pretty dull this year. 

I went to our Christmas party at work this year. It was impressive but I am just not a party person so left early.

Also spent a weekend with Matt, El Clare and the lovely little Livvy up north.

During a weekend with friends in the Cotswolds, we finally went to Crocodiles of the world. Here are some photos.

Parties

During my week at home, I popped into Olivia's 2nd birthday party. She actually likes me now so I didn't get much time to sit down. She seemed to have a good time and all (adults and children) alike seemed knackered by then end. I also got to catch up with some others friends I haven't seen in ages which was great.

Cotswolds weekend with friends

This weekend was spent in the Cotswolds with Matt, El, Clare and little Livvy. We had a different cottage to previously which of course meant we got horribly lost trying to find it. (The GPS wasn't nearly accurate enough at the end.)

The weather was a bit miserable on Saturday so we went to Gloucester Quays and got some lunch.

Livvy was quite happy feeding herself so we could also eat.

After lunch, the weather had cleared up enough to take a walk along the cannel before doing some shopping. Although you wouldn't think it from some of the photos. At least it stopped raining.

We had fun getting Livvy to walk in the wind. She loves it and giggled as much as we did. But she does only have little legs so went in the carrier.

After a walk we did a little shopping (I think I am completely finished with Christmas presents now) and Matt and I had fun putting hats on the kid. (We were left unsupervised!)

We had a quiet night in, with snacks (no dinner needed after a giant lunch), DVDs and a fire when Livvy had gone to sleep. We really are party animals. 

After cleaning out of the cottage, we stopped at Stow-on-the-Wold as it was only a 10 min drive away and wondered around.

The trip back wasn't too bad though I hit some nasty traffic on the way back Clare's. Looking forward to the next catch up.

And today I managed to get my USA visa approved so looking forward to some travel next year. :)
