Padstow

Last week I went down to St. Issey with mom and dad. They stayed in their caravan and I rented the static for the week. I was really glad not to be in the tent this week. It was so cold! I could see my breathe every morning even in the caravan and was very happy and pleased with my new sleeping bag. The site the caravan is on is basically a field but it is so quiet and peaceful.

We decided to take a walk around Padstow (mainly to stretch our legs but also to keep Dad awake). The weather was gorgeous. It was just a bit windy and cold.
The harbour

We went for a walk up the head land and over the hill to the lower beach.
Taking a walk.

Out to sea.

Happy dad.
I also started to play with the panoramic function on my phone.

Lower beach
The beach was practically deserted though the climb down was a little tricky as the steps were still under water.

Beautiful
On the way back, I messed up my knee. :( Which is nothing abnormal. But an ice-cream helped with the pain! :) And then fish and chips at home for dinner really made everything better.
We had a lazy Sunday, with Sunday lunch at the Ring 'o' Bells pub.

Too interested in food.
After a very nice meal (though I have been paying for eating non-gluten free all week - though the sticky-toffee pudding was very nice), we took a walk around the back lanes. Though the cows freaked me out a little. They seemed to be waiting for us. To do something!
Watching!
And some people apparently need to be told the facts of lief when in farm country.
Really?
While it is right, you can watch rabbits playing just outside the caravan (they have a sixth sense when I get my camera out and run away). And there are some very nice  sunsets. :)
