Satruday, after doing laundry, I spent half a the at the beach. The trip there was not exactly as easy as google maps described, thanks to an imaginary bus stop and a tunnel. I ended up walking along the route as much as I could until I found a stop.
Playa del la Teresitas is a man-made beach just north from Santa Cruz and the closest beach to Santa Cruz. It was worth the 1.5 hr trip.

The cove has a wave break so the waves where not as large as they are on some of the other beaches.

Lots of kids. |
It was reasonably quiet, even sitting near the cantina.

Made a friend. |
The weather was a lot better than it has been during the week. It went a little hazy at one point but as I had fallen asleep it stopped me from burning so yay.

I also took snacks. There is something so right about having animal crackers at the beach.

Snack time! |
I got home around 9pm. And was very happy to jump in the shower. It was still bait windy at the beach and I was throughly sanded. (It really sticks with my sunscreen!) I am looking forward to seeing more of the beaches. :)
