Bedruthan Steps

The weather was reasonable, though really cold - I could see my breath in the caravan each morning. Getting out of bed was not fun. But at least it was sunny. Tuesday we went for a walk at Bedruthan steps.

Beautiful day

Cold!
Empty beach
Lots of mussels
Pretty!
The only problem with Bedruthan steps (other than making sure you get the tides right and don't get stranded) is the steps you have to climb to get down to and then back up from the beach!
A long way up.
Steep!

Headed back.

Nare Head

On Monday we went to Nare Head near Carne for a walk. The weather was hit and miss but mostly dry. The walk along the coast was very pretty.

On the way back we encountered some locals. Dad made friends. Mom was not impressed.

Not impressed with the paparazzi
We went to the Nare Head hotel for a coffee. We were vastly underdressed - it was super posh. But the other cafe was shut. After a drink, we headed to the beach.
