Christmas 2024

On 14th December I had surgery on my right elbow. It was planned and I had been waiting for 2 years for it. Without it I would lose the use of my hand.
It all went well but took longer than expected and therefore recovery was longer than expected. So I spent the next 3.5 weeks over Christmas until to move or really use my high (dominate) hand. Thankfully I have an amazing family who didn't mind cutting up my food or brushing my hair for over 3 weeks.
And I had the cutest puppies to keep my happy.

Time with my lovely dogs

While mom and dad were up, they got to meet Teddy and I spent a fair bit of time with Bim and Bell before Christmas.

World Stone Skimming Championships

The World Stone Skimming Championships are a real thing. Once a year on the Easdale Island near Oban people from across the world come to skim stones the furthest. It was impressive. Though I don't know if the Australian team understood it was Scotland (i.e. cold) as they did theirs in speedos. I am not complaining. But seriously it was miserable and wet and rainy and cold.

Oban

We went into Oban and dad and I went for a whiskey tasty while mom wondered.

And then we had seafood and chips on the harbour before it started raining. but we found a chocolate shop to hide in for a while. :)
We brought a lot of seafood to take home and a nice bottle of wine wine.
We have an amazing feast that night!
